01 WHO WE ARE
This notice sets out plainly what this website collects and what happens to it. The registered details of the data controller and the exact period for which records are kept are being confirmed with our legal advisers and will be added here. If anything in this notice matters to you, write to us at the address in section 05 and we will answer.
02 WHAT WE COLLECT
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address and your message, together with the details you choose to give - your mobile number, your company, the event type, a preferred date, an approximate number of guests and the space you are interested in. Only your name, email address, event type, space and message are required; the rest is optional and the form works without them.
The form also carries a hidden field and a timing measurement, used only to recognise automated submissions. Neither tells us anything about you. Nothing else about you is collected anywhere on this site.
03 WHY WE COLLECT IT
To read your enquiry and reply to it, and to discuss and arrange a hire if that is what you want. You tick a box on the form to confirm you are content for us to hold your details for that purpose, and you can withdraw that at any time by writing to us. The formal legal basis we rely on is being confirmed with our legal advisers and will be stated here.
Your enquiry is sent to the customer records system operated for us by 53Alpha, who handle it on our instructions and for no purpose of their own. It is not sold, shared for advertising, or used to send you marketing you did not ask for. Where your information is stored, and whether it leaves the United Kingdom, is being confirmed and will be stated here rather than guessed at.
04 HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Enquiries are kept while we are in correspondence with you and for a period afterwards, so that we can pick up a conversation you return to. The exact period is being confirmed with our legal advisers and will be stated here. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time, and we will.
05 YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, ask for a copy of it, and withdraw your consent. None of these costs anything and you do not have to give a reason. Write to enquiries@60pallmall.com and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first so that we can put it right.
06 COOKIES AND EMBEDDED CONTENT
This website sets no cookies of its own, and there are no advertising trackers and no social media embeds. We do count page visits: to do that, your browser holds a short random number for the length of your visit, which is erased when you close the tab. It does not identify you and it does not follow you to other websites.
The contact page shows an embedded Google map. When that map loads, your browser contacts Google directly. Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies or store data in your browser, under its own terms rather than ours. We do not control that and we receive nothing from it. The map is loaded only if you scroll far enough down the contact page to reach it, and you can write to us by email without going to that page at all. Whether this embed needs a consent banner is one of the points being put to our legal advisers, and this notice will be updated when they have advised.
